The Customer Identified Resource (CIR) Program, authorized in Georgia Power's 2025 Integrated Resource Plan (Georgia PSC Docket No. 56002), enables commercial and industrial customers and project developers to jointly bring new energy resources forward for development and interconnection to Georgia Power's electric system.

Through the CIR program, eligible customers can either partner with a developer to propose a specific project or review and select from a collection of projects submitted by developers. The platform provides customers with visibility into proposed resources that are available for development.

Developers are invited to submit projects to Georgia Power for preliminary evaluation. Projects that meet initial screening requirements will be included in the CIR platform, where participating customers can evaluate opportunities and select projects to subscribe to.
